Guide Lines for Submission of PRAGYANA–A Peer Reviewed International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research
 

Pragyana invites professors, researchers and scholars to submit their original and unpublished work in the form of Research Articles/ Papers, Case Studies, Thematic Papers, Thesis Chapters, Dissertation, Book Reviews, Conference Papers etc. round the year, issue of publication will be communicated to the authors in due course of time. Research work in all the disciplines including Sciences and Mathematics, Commerce, Management, Computer Science, Engineering & Technology, Tourism & Hospitality, Life Sciences, Pharma and Agriculture is invited.

The submission guidelines are given as below:

  1. While submitting an article, the Authors must submit a declaration of originality of manuscript, also that the paper contains plagiarism less than the permissible limit. The article should be checked through plagiarism checker, preferably URKUND/ TURNTIN.
  2. Each manuscript of paper should be submitted with a covering letter that contains Name, Full Address, Telephone/ fax numbers and e-mail of the corresponding author through e-mail message which is sent to the Editor. Authors must ensure that complete detail, i.e., Name, Designation, Affiliation, e-mail address and phone numbers of all the authors have been mention on the front page.
  3. The manuscript must carry an Abstract of the paper normally in 100-150 words and not exceeding 200 words in any case. Authors are expected to submit a manuscript which does not exceed 3000 words. In an exceptional case author may seek permission from the Editor(s).
  4. The submitted manuscripts should be in MS Word *.doc or *.docx file as an attachment with e-mail addressed to the Editorial board at pragyana@himadritrust.in. Papers sent in other text formats will not be accepted.
  5. The manuscript should be on A-4 Size paper typed in 1.5 line spacing, Justified text, in 12-point font size in ‘Times New Roman’ font with at least 1” margin all four sides. The paper title should be in bold UPPER CASE, 16-point font size with bold, Authors’ information in bold UPPER CASE, 12-point font size, main headings in bold UPPER CASE, 14-point font size with; subheadings in bold UPPER CASE, 12 size with.
  6. If manuscript carries figure, tables, appendices; the figure should be numbered as ‘Figure-1, 2, 3…’, tables should be numbered as ‘Table-1, 2, 3….’ and appendices should be numbered as ‘Appendix-I, II, III…..’ etc. Source of all the tables, figures, appendices etc. should be clearly given below the respective tables, figures; for appendices the it should be on the Right Side of the Top of the page. Units of measurement and their location should be indicated in the paper. All tables must be placed at the suitable / appropriate place in the paper. Font size of text in table must not be more than with only 1 spacing and proper setting of table and its material should be in center and all must be as per guidelines.
  7. While giving References, author should follow the instructions given as below:                                            a) In case of Book: Surname, Initials (year), Title of Book, Publisher, Place of publication. e.g. Vohra, N.D. and Bagri, B.R. (2011), “Futures and Options”, (2nd Edition), Tata McGraw Hills, New Delhi.          b) In case of Journal: Surname, Initials (year), “Title of article”, Journal Name, volume issue, pages. e.g. Gautam, A. and Khurana, C. (2019), “Empirical evidences of constituents of professional success”, “International Journal of Research and Analytical Review, Vol. 6 No. 1, pp. 401-411.                                  c) In case of Website: URL (Complete address of web page no. /content with date of access) e.g. sebi.gov.in/faq/derivatives.faq/html accessed on 15/08/2020 at 10:15am.
  8. The authors must ensure that the manuscript has been formatted as per the guidelines and all the spelling, grammatical mistakes and mistakes of syntax etc have been removed. Editors will not be responsible for any linguistic mistakes.
  9. The Editors may make changes in the manuscript’s format during the course of editing so as to make it more suitable for publishing. Authors are required to submit an authorisation letter in favour of the Editor in Chief clearly mentioning that “The Editor may do the necessary editing required for publications.
  10. After paying requisite fee, a complimentary copy of the issue will be sent to all the authors/contributors where their contribution has been published.
  11. Copyright of all published articles will be vested in Pragyana, Himalayan Management and Development Resource Institute (HiMADRI), Lane No.-4, Geetanagar, Veerbhadra, Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), nonetheless, permission to reproduce digital/ hardcopy of published work will be granted without fee for spreading knowledge. Pragyana can use all published work in text, figures or images, in any form/ format/ way/ electronic format or such media as presently exists or hereafter be discovered.
  12.
